The work

Real projects, rough work through punch list.

Projects include new construction, additions, residential remodeling, commercial improvements, and general contractor work across the Northern Neck and Middle Peninsula.

  • Clean demolition and preparation
  • Layout, measuring, cutting, and installation
  • Rough carpentry support, framing, tie-ins, and repairs
  • Finish carpentry support, trim, doors, and punch work
  • Drywall, paint, tile, and cabinet support as needed
  • Daily cleanup and jobsite organization
  • Protection of finished spaces and controlled work zones

Requirements

  • 18 years or older
  • General construction knowledge and basic tool use—or a strong willingness to learn
  • Accurate and consistent with a tape measure
  • Reliable transportation and on-time attendance
  • Safe work habits and ability to follow direction

Preferred experience

  • Framing
  • Trim and finish carpentry
  • Drywall
  • Tile
  • Painting
  • Cabinet installation

Schedule & pay

Work is mostly weekdays in the Northern Neck and Middle Peninsula. Some off-hours or weekend work may be needed. Pay depends on experience and reliability.

Day one means arriving on time, listening first, asking before guessing, working safely, staying organized, and respecting the homeowner or business space.
